About Steve

"Nobody wishes on their death bed they
had spent more time at the office."

Or, in Steve's case, any time at the office. After life in corporate America he is now a recording artist, songwriter, and performing musician. At his studio he produces CD's for emerging musicians and songwriters.

Steve's debut CD released in 1996 is Christmas Guitar.  It has since become a favorite of his fans around the world. He has followed up with six more solo CDs: Romantic Guitar, Half Irish Guitar, Patriotic Guitar, Original Guitar, and My Favorite Guitar Solos each with a companion book of transcriptions. Recordings that feature Steve's songwriting are: A Little Bit of Crow (2000) and The Illustrated Man (2012).  His latest collection of songs are digital only: I Can't Be Serious (2017) and Seeking Soul (2019).

As a producer and performance coach, Steve works with songwriters, performers and public speakers of all kinds. His approach to stage work has helped further the careers of many new artists including Kevin So, Mary Gauthier, and Mieka Pauley all nationally known artists. He has produced CD's for less well-known, but no less talented songwriters, like British singer/songwriter Paul Chi, and German composer/pianist Ivo Wiesner.

Boston area songwriters produced by Steve include Terence Hegarty, John Gerard, Carolyn Waters, Ashley Jordan, Charlie Cover, & Chris Boehmer. Steve collaborates with poet Cheryl Perreault, improvising acoustic guitar to her spoken word pieces.

Steve is the author of The Art of the Soloperfomer: A Field Guide to Stage & Podium a resource for performers of all kinds.

Steve holds a Masters Degree in Communication Management from Simmons College. He lives in Jupiter, Florida (Oct-May) and Winchendon, Massachusetts (June - Sept.) with Rosemary, his wife of fifty years--they married young, it was quite a scandal at the time.
